The Armed Forces Withstood the Attack and Have Already Launched a Counteroffensive - the Head of the Kharkiv Region

The head of the Kharkiv regional military administration, Oleh Snehubov, said that the Ukrainian military had withstood the attack of Russian troops and even launched a counteroffensive.

The head of the region said this on the air of the "UArazom" telethon.

"They (the Armed Forces of Ukraine - ed.) withstood the attack of the aggressor, and now they are not just repelling, but have already moved to the counterattack. For example, they pushed the enemy line in the Sumy direction from Kharkov, fully occupying the position border," Synehubov said.

According to him, the occupiers actually lost offensive resources and gave up massive attacks by armored vehicles. Instead, the Russians are looking for weak spots, but the Armed Forces of Ukraine are repelling them. In particular, on the evening of March 4, the Ukrainian military destroyed 3 enemy tanks and took another as a trophy.

"The enemy understands that he will not pass. He has no choice but to insidiously shoot at residential areas, downtown, we have shelling all day, including missile ones - on office buildings, and residential, unfortunately, too," said the head of the Kharkiv Military-Civil Administration.
