71 children died of Russian shelling, - Denysova

From the start of the invasion of the Russian Federation in Ukraine till March 10, 71 children died and over one hundred children were wounded.

This was reported by the Ombudsperson Lyudmyla Denysova.

In the city Malyn in Zhytomyr Oblast seven private houses were destroyed in an air strike. Among 5 killed people there were three children – a 5-year-old girl and two children born in 2021.

In the village Zhukovskoho in Charkiv Oblast a 16-year-old boy died in the shelling of a local market.

In another shelled village in Charkiv Oblast an enemy missile struck a private house. Four people died in the rubble, among them there were two children. A 5-year-old girl survived miraculously.

In the city Irpin in Kyiv Oblast a 10-year-old girl got a penetrating injury. The child is now in serious condition and stays at the hospital.
